How to prevent unwanted e-mails from Gmail
It is no longer possible for many people to delete the unnecessary e-mails that come to their Gmail account by mistake or stress of work. The inbox fills up with unnecessary e-mails. Having too many e-mails makes it difficult to find important e-mails when needed. However, if you want, you can use the 'Gmail Autodetection' facility to automatically stop unnecessary e-mails coming to your inbox. Old emails can also be deleted from the inbox if desired.
To automatically empty the inbox, first click on the filter icon next to the search bar of the Gmail account.
Now you have to enter the name or e-mail address of the unnecessary person or organization that comes to you in the 'From' option at the top. Now if you click on create filter and select 'delete it', no e-mail sent by this person or organization will come.
If desired, it is possible to delete the old e-mails accumulated in the inbox. For this, you have to enter the name or email address of a person or organization in the search bar and select the 'All' option. Now click on trash bin or delete icon and all e-mails from them will be deleted.
